Episode 5 started of with the beautiful host Arisa Cox walking down to the stage while the audience cheered. Afterwards it showed the ending of the veto ceremony when the HoH, Jillian, had picked to replace Gary with Danielle.
After that Peter, Emmett and Alec had went into the store room to talk about the newly formed girls alliance. Peter had found out about the girls alliance after Liza had told him about it thinking that she could trust him.
It was then revealed that Alec and Peter had an alliance from the started named "The Shield" and they had an alliance with Tom and Emmett named "The Quattro" and are planning on running the house.
It later showed a clip of Tom and Peter discussing who they want out when all of a sudden Tom decided that he wanted Danielle out of the house this week. Saying that she is a strong player and would make a strong alliance with Gary. Also saying that "The Quattro" could possibly make Aneal do what ever they want him to do.
In the garden it then showed Peter and Alec talking to Aneal telling him not to panic and that he is safe. Also making a deal with him. Peter said in a DR session that if they save him he (Aneal) will do whatever they (The Quattro) want. Aneal then said in his own DR session that a deal is only a deal until he sees fit, does this mean that if he survives eviction he will finish his deal with "The Quattro"?
Afterwards Aneal went on a campaign to try and get votes to stay in the house this week meaning that somehow he will need to get 6 or more votes to evict Danielle. It also showed a clip of Gary, Suzette and Danielle in the bedroom discussing votes with Danielle wanting to make sure that she has the votes to stay. Liza later walked in and Danielle asked her if she was going to be voting to keep her. In a DR session Danielle revealed that she didn't feel safe but she felt like she was safer than Aneal for the votes.
While campaigning for votes Aneal was asking if "The Quattro" could help him. Danielle got suspicious of the whispering that was happening between them and started to question whether she would be safe or not. Later on Gary had decided to host a fashion show for all the females of the house deciding that the males would be the audience. Gary himself even dressed up for the occasion saying that he was his "identical twin sister". The males of the house seemed quite impressed by Gary's costume but Alec's jaw dropped once Topaz had walked out onto the catwalk stage (the garden).
It never took long to get back into the game talk once the fashion show had taken place as Liza had went to tell Aneal what she heard in the bedroom with the previous conversation with Suzette, Gary and Danielle about votes. This is when Aneal had started to wonder about if he had the votes to stay or not. Gary never hesitated to go to the HoH room and tell Jillian that everyone seems to have changed their votes for Aneal to stay in the house for another week.
Then Arisa had said that there had been a few moments in the house this week which varied from Danielle dancing to Talla having a little gas problem and by gas problem what I really mean is farting a lot. Afterwards was the final chance for Aneal and Danielle to get an extra few votes for themselves. Eventually it came down to a vote of 8-3 for Danielle to be evicted meaning that Danielle was the second houseguest to be evicted from the Big Brother Canada house.
After the eviction it, as always, was the HoH competition and this one was called "Popular Vote". This competition was when houseguest had to guess from a question whether the other houseguests would pick "A" or "B". The houseguests to be eliminated (in order) were:

- Liza
- Talla
- Gary
- Suzette
- Alec
This meaning that the following houseguests had to go to a tie-breaker question:
- AJ
- Tom
- Peter
- Andrew
- Aneal
- Emmett
The tie-breaker question was "How much batter was used in the butter up challenge?" with the answer of 1700 litres and the closest to the correct answer of 3690 litres, Tom had won and became the new HoH for the week.
